The
National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology
("National Register") is committed to safeguarding
privacy. Currently, the National Register does not collect,
disclose or sell any personally-identifiable information
that is simply and exclusively related to a view-only visit
to the National Register's web site (www.nationalregister.org)
or the Find a Psychologist web site (www.findapsychologist.org).
Although
the National Register currently does not collect any personal
information about persons who visit our web site, the National
Register reserves the right to do so in the future. However,
any data regarding web site visitors that may be collected
in the future will be used only for internal statistical
purposes, market research and for improving services.
If,
as a visitor to the National Register/Find a Psychologist
web site, you submit personal data such as your name, address,
telephone number, email and other information, you are agreeing
to allow the National Register access, storage and analysis
of the data provided. Most of the information that you may
be asked to provide must be collected in order for the National
Register to provide you with the services and/or information
you request. Your failure, or choice, not to provide any
requested information deemed essential may limit the services
that the National Register is able to provide. We continue
to make every effort to ensure that any information you
provide is secure and protected from unauthorized use.
Any
information provided by psychologists credentialed by the
National Register or doctoral students participating in
the National Psychologist Trainee Register to the National
Register through the web site or any other means, will be
used to maintain accurate accounts, provide services and
market new and existing services to our current and future
Registrants.
If you
have any questions regarding the National Register's privacy
policy, you may direct your questions to: support@nationalregister.org.
