Cheryl Anisman, PhD

I am a Clinical Psychology holding a PhD, and have been in clinical practice for over 30 years. I am a humanist with grounding in Psychodynamic Theory. I primarily work with adults and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship, and self esteem issues. I empowering my clients using a variety of modalities including humor, meditative practices, and guided imagery. One of my areas of expertise is in Couples Therapy and have been trained in the Gottman approach. I am an LGBT affirmative therapist. I am a Professor who teaches aspiring therapists, and as a result stay current with the latest research.
