I have a general outpatient practice that consists of psychotherapy and psychological evaluations. I work mostly with adults and some adolescents. I see patients with a wide range of presenting problems and enjoy working with couples. I have a special interest and special training in dual diagnoses. I will soon be starting a cognitive behavioral group therapy program for those with chronic pain. With regard to psychological evaluations, I do presurgical psychological evaluations for both invasive pain control procedures and bariatric procedures. I also do a variety of psychological evaluations for the court systems. I conduct competency to stand trial evaluations, criminal responsibility evaluations and evaluations that are required as part of a presentence investigation. I also do psychological evaluations to help primary care providers or medication prescriber’s identify the appropriate diagnoses and symptoms to target with medications.
