I offer brief and longer-term psychotherapy as well as psychoanalysis to individuals experiencing anxiety, sadness, difficulties in relationships and work, or symptoms related to physical well-being. I have worked extensively with young adult, adult, and older adult men and women on issues of identity, grief/loss, low self-confidence, inhibitions in success and fulfillment, or the effects of medical illness. Although each individual’s experience provides a unique starting point to psychotherapy, I am oriented toward psychodynamic and interpersonal approaches to assist in improving self-understanding, emotional well-being, and change.
