Richard Spiegle, PsyD
Dr. Spiegle is a forensic and clinical psychologist, licensed in the State of Colorado with over twenty-five years of experience. He received his Doctor of Psychology degree from the University of Denver in 1979. Dr. Spiegle continues his affiliation with the University of Denver as a Clinical Affiliate and provides clinical supervision and training to graduate students. He is a frequent speaker at professional meetings and continuing legal educational seminars on various topics related to psychological and forensic issues. Dr. Spiegle’s background, in addition to forensic practice, includes many years of consultation in such settings as Head Start, Federal Corrections, and Child Protection Services and for agencies serving the developmentally disabled. He provided services as staff psychologist in a community mental health setting and he was the Coordinator of After-hours Emergency Services, Continuity of Care, and Hospital Services at the same agency. He completed mediation training at the nationally acclaimed Center for Dispute Resolution in Boulder, Colorado. Subsequent to that, he co-founded a professional mediation practice. He has served on boards of director for several human services and mental health organizations. Dr. Spiegle has been married for over 30 years, has seven children, and has lived in Colorado for over 35 years.
