Madison Neuropsychological Services, LLC is dedicated to providing comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for patients across the lifespan in efforts to seek diagnostic clarification and inform treatment recommendations. We value each person as a unique individual and tailor our assessment sessions to meet the needs of each patient. We aim to provide compassionate and prompt services to patients, their families/caregivers, and referring providers.

Credentials/Memberships

    Dr. Porter received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in health and neuropsychology, from the American School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Porter has extensive experience and training in the field of neuropsychology, in which she successfully completed a residency as well as a two-year post-doctoral fellowship focusing on comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment of complex neurologic, medical, and psychiatric disorders in pediatric and adult populations. Dr. Porter also has experience working with active duty military personnel and veterans in inpatient VA settings and outpatient mental health clinics.

    Professional affiliations include: The National Register of Health Service Psychologists, The National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN), The American Psychological Association Society for Clinical Neuropsychology (SCN40), and the Midwest Neuropsychology Group. Dr. Porter also serves on the Board of Directors for the Brain Injury Alliance of Wisconsin (BIAW).

    Outside of the office, Dr. Porter enjoys yoga, cooking, exploring nature/the outdoors, and spending time with her family.

Health Care Plan Participation

While we do except most commercial insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid, local HMO plans (Dean and Unity) are NOT covered at this time. Please note, specific coverage benefits vary considerably across insurance carriers, therefore it is the patient/legal guardian’s responsibility to ensure that neuropsychological assessment is covered PRIOR to the evaluation.
