Because Dr. Bitney was trained in New York City, an epicenter for medical training and research, she was able to receive first-rate supervision and training from a number of leading doctors. Included in this training was a progressive model of treatment that utilizes both Psychodynamic Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients through both short- and long-term therapy.
