Dr. Damita LaRue & Associates, Inc. is dedicated to providing collaborative, strengths-based, culturally-sensitive, therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing distress due to chronic, acute, and terminal medical diagnoses, caregiving, end-of-life and hospice, and grief and loss. In addition, we coordinate wrapround care for clients with their medical team, and provide consultation and training services to other professionals. Dr. LaRue is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, National Register Health Service Psychologist, and Fellow in Thanatology (death, dying, and bereavement). She is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (crisis and disaster response) and has advanced training in Clinical Hypnosis. She is an active member, and serves on credentialing committees as a subject matter expert in thanatology, for the Association for Death Education and Counseling, which is an international organization that is dedicated to promoting excellence and recognizing diversity in death education, care of the dying, grief counseling and research in thanatology.

The practice hours are Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Saturdays by appointment. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice, and Medicare. We provide necessary documentation for clients who have insurance with other companies to submit for potential fee reimbursement.
