Elaine Klionsky, PhD (she/her)
My practice is focused on helping clients gain insight and make behavioral changes which may enhance their lives. Many clients begin therapy with me because of issues such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, compulsive behavior, addictions, parenting, work-life balance, career transitions, and a wide range of relationship difficulties. The pain caused by these issues often leaves individuals feeling uncertain and confused and eager to regain a sense of control over their lives. I believe psychotherapy is an effective means of addressing underlying problems and the difficulties which ensue. I practice in two locations: 2000 P Street NW, Suite 412 Washington DC 20036 (Dupont Circle) & 6917 Arlington Rd. #223 Bethesda, MD 20814 (Downtown Bethesda).
