Kathy McMahon, PsyD

I'm the founder and President of Couples Therapy Inc., an international organization devoted to effective science-based couples therapy. My practice is in Boston, MA and we have 4 clinicians in Massachusetts total. We conduct our work in an intensive form of couples therapy called "marriage retreats." In this private, one-to-one weekend, one clinician works with you and your partner, after you complete an extensive assessment online that we call "The BIG BIG Book." We want to be sure to make the most of our clinical time with you, and this book answers most of the important questions your couples therapist will have before they see you. It saves you time and money to complete it at home, online, in the privacy of your own home. Couples fly from all over the country to work with our 30+ clinicians who are located across the USA and in Canada & London, England. We also work in an online format, using the same expert skills. This is particularly effective for couples who do not live in the same state or country, and need help in their long-distance relationship.

I do not accept insurance
As an international organization, we are open at some point in the world. To reach me, contact Olivia, my Operations Manager at [email protected]. She will explain the process to you, pricing, etc. As couples therapy is not covered by insurance (except in very rare cases) we are on no insurance panels. We will provide you with a superbill that list the diagnosis as "relationship problems" in case your insurance coverage does.
