Marcia Eckerd, PhD (she/her)

In practice since 1985, I diagnose and work with all autistic individuals and those with autistic traits. I work with them towards self-acceptance as neurodivergent and navigating their choices and lives. I also consult with families, and specialize in diagnosing and working with autistic women. I am sensitive to identity intersections such as race, gender, and ethnicity so I can be culturally responsive. I'm a writer (professional articles on diagnosing women, adults and disclosing diagnoses to children) as well as a blog, "Everyday Neurodiversity" on Psychology Today.
