Melissa Rodriguez, PsyD

Hi! Congratulations on investing in yourself. I am a dedicated psychologist with experience treating clients of all ages, specializing in police and public safety personnel, systemic therapy (couples and families), and adolescents. Coming from a law enforcement family, I have a deep passion for counseling and supporting first responders. My clients often describe me as genuine, humble, and easy to talk to. I take a brief, strength-based approach to therapy, helping individuals and families navigate challenges effectively. In addition to therapy, I conduct psychological evaluations for treatment planning, diagnosis, pre-employment screenings, pre-surgical assessments, and academic accommodations. To reduce stigma and foster trust in mental health care, I provide annual wellness visits for first responders. I also offer consulting and training on a range of psychological health and wellness topics, equipping individuals and organizations with tools to promote mental resilience.
