Patrick B. McGrath, PhD

Dr. McGrath is the Assistant Vice President of the Foglia Family Foundation Residential Treatment Center and the Clinical Director of the Center for Anxiety and OCD at AMITA Health, Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. The goal of the Residential Treatment Center (RTC) is to treat individuals with anxiety disorders (OCD, PTSD, Panic, Phobias) and addictions (Chemical Dependency and Process). Individuals will live at the RTC for an average of three to six weeks and do Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP), Motivational Interviewing, 12-step work, Virtual Reality Therapy, and Mindfulness. The Center for Anxiety and OCD is a Partial Hospital Program (6 hours a day) and Intensive Outpatient Program (3 hours a day) that does CBT and ERP for all anxiety disorders. In addition, there are PHP’s and IOP’s for addictions, eating disorders, self-injury, child, adolescent, and adult mental health, and school anxiety / school refusal. Our assessment department (ACCESS) is open 24 hours a day and gives free level of care assessments.
