Richard R Sternberg, PsyD
Dr. Sternberg practices clinical and forensic psychology. He holds Postdoctoral Certificates in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy and in Marital and Couples Therapy from Adelphi University, where he is an adjunct faculty member, teaching courses in psychopathology, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and forensic psychology.
Areas of specialization include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, as well as relationship problems and the severe forms of psychopathology. Trained in several modes of psychotherapy, Dr. Sternberg tailors his treatment to the needs of the individual. Dr. Sternberg is also available for forensic evaluations and divorce mediation.
